Me.

I remember when love honey, was pabo. And you could get a mail order sex magazine! I remember a friend's dad being an utter creep. I ordered one, and put hearts and kisses on it saying " too Mr etc, love secret mistress etc". 😂. Then posted it when everyone was out for the day!

Anyone else?

I put myself in some very stupid situations with guys including being picked up from a club by a guy I really fancied. He and his friend took me and my friend to a park and tried to have sex with us. I said no and he thankfully didn't try to force me. It could've been so different as I was drunk. My friend had sex with the other guy in the car. When I thought about it afterwards I realised how wrong it all could've gone and how stupid I'd been.

Countless one night stands being taken back to random houses. I’m lucky nothing bad ever happened.

Me and my friends at Uni got caught in the rain on a night out and had no brollies. A car stopped outside the pub with 5 scary looking lads in it and the driver offered us a lift to the next pub. We agreed and sat on a load of random scary lads’ knees with no seatbelts.

Id kill DD if she ever did anything like that!

Toosaggymaggy · 20/11/2022 23:16

Hey, that sounds scary. And you were young so try and be kind to yourself. We all make silly mistakes. 🌻

Drove my parents car to a party before I’d passed my driving test. What a stupid thing to do. I still feel so ashamed!

alexdgr8 · 20/11/2022 23:22

i decided to retrieve a ball by standing on a shed roof, just to get the view.
it broke under me.
i was uninjured, laughed it off.
it was made of corrugated asbestos.

BzzzzzOff · 20/11/2022 23:30

When I was about 14, my mum used to amuse us with stories about a much younger guy at work who fancied her. One day we'd had a big argument, and to get her back I sent a text to the guy from her phone saying "I think I'm in love with you" 😬

Also did something very stupid when I was 17, which I'd never ever admit to IRL. I was going to a party, and my mum would be giving me a lift. I sneakily drank several shots of vodka from my mum's drinks cupboard while I was getting ready. I was learning to drive at the time, and as we went out the door my mum gave me the keys and said I could drive... And not wanting to get in trouble for drinking her vodka, I did. Luckily the short journey was uneventful, but I really can't believe I did it.

SandyY2K · 20/11/2022 23:37

Taking lifts from strangers...it's just crazy looking back. I watch a lot of true crime now and see how easily I could have been killed. I dud it a few times as well.

The worst thing that happened, was this one guy requesting a BJ after he dropped me off...I was mortified. Very naive I was.

Luckily my daughters wouldn't do anything like that.

NosyNeighbour22 · 20/11/2022 23:39

I sometimes think I only survived my teenage years through sheer luck. Hitchhiking on my own regularly from the age of 14, going home with men I didn’t know, taking so
much ecstasy that I was completely out of my face Friday-Sunday every week until I was in my 20s. No one know now would believe I used to be like that, These days I’m
anxious about taking medication prescribed for me by a doctor!

ValleyClouds · 20/11/2022 23:41

This wasn't me doing petty but something petty that happened to me.

Went to a club, in a group with a taxi paid for as a return by the whole group of about 7/8 (People Carrier)

They ditched us (me and one friend) inside the club and left in the taxi without us even though we all had mobiles.

It was at uni, and me and my friend were still in our teens and left in an unfamiliar city, luckily we had money, but the taxi company asked us to wait in an empty side road, and we were genuinely a bit scared.

Only 2 of them actually apologised.

Mumoftwoinprimary · 20/11/2022 23:47

Got drunk, climbed onto an 8 foot high wall and did a cartwheel on it.

I was an ex competitive gymnast so not as ridiculous as it first sounds but even so!

CoilBeGone · 20/11/2022 23:56

Driving without a licence multiple times.
Taking shit loads of drugs.
Driving on shit loads of drugs.
Smuggling my 19 year old boyfriend on a school trip to france when I was 15.
Hanging out in dodgy flats/squats with some proper wrong uns.
God knows how many one night stands.
Hitch hiking.

BlackCatTabbyCat · 21/11/2022 00:04

Not petty but horrible. I was an absolute dick to teachers at school. I thought I was hilarious but I was pathetic and they must have wanted to slap me. The school sent a letter to my mum about but I got a hold of it before she could see it. I wasn't brought up like that my mum would have been ashamed of me.

youcantry · 21/11/2022 00:12

Oh too many to mention! Walked along the train tracks when the train was cancelled with my then boyfriend. Took far too many drugs, I'm lucky I'm still alive. Got in the car with many over the limit drivers, sometimes in the boot or footwell, coming back from clubs. Hitched hiked at 16 whilst working the season in Cornwall and again when 18 in Australia. My poor parents! I'm 51 now and thankfully my adult kids are far more sensible.

youcantry · 21/11/2022 00:17

Oh also, my friends dad owned a prestigious car garage. When we were 17, they were on holiday and we took a very expensive car off of the forecourt and my friend drove it around central London for a few hours. This was over thirty years ago. He still doesn't know!

Did the guy reply?!

Changingplace · 21/11/2022 00:22

It’s a wonder I’m still alive and not dead in a ditch or in prison really. I’ve got a respectable job & nobody would have a clue of all this.

Aged about 17 ended up in a hotel room with my mate and a really weird bloke who was showing us porn on a laptop
Too many one night stands with complete strangers either going to theirs or bringing them home (prob more 20s than teenager)
Drugs, all kinds
Shoplifting
Getting blind drunk, blacking out and having no idea how I got home - various times
Boyfriend when I was in 6th form who sold weed and took me to illegal warehouse raves, not entirely sure how we even got there or home

Yeah, no idea how I’ve got away with all that, and more.

youcantry · 21/11/2022 00:27

And I was staying in hotel staff accommodation when I was 16 whilst working for the season and my friend and smuggled our (very recent) boyfriends in, who stayed a couple of weeks! Got caught in the end but as the hotelier was my uncle I got away with it. He never told my parents either bless him.

Flowersinspringgrowwild · 21/11/2022 00:34

This thread makes me feel so much better! I was wild in my teens and 20's, feel so ashamed when I think back.

youcantry · 21/11/2022 00:35

Oh another one, aged 14 at a 14-18s disco where Steve Wright was playing 🤣 drank a load of vodka on the bus there, got ill and was puking so the staff took me to the medical room. I gave a false name and number so they couldn't contact my parents. They then said they were calling an ambulance so my friend gave them my proper details. Mum and dad turned up and mum dragged me by my hair through the sports hall in front of all my friends and chucked me in a cold shower when they got me home!

Did the smuggled boyfriend come on the school coach with you or make his own way and meet you there?

Justellingthetruth · 21/11/2022 06:59

@Toosaggymaggy

looking back now I think it was meeting a guy in a pub who you didn’t know and ending up back at his. You would never do that with OLD!
