I have just started this, the green shake, and I am wondering if there are any mumsnetters that have also tried it or take it currently?

How have you found it?

Thanks!

I couldn’t bring myself to buy it cause of the cost

Dorestatua · 17/11/2022 17:21

I'd like to know how it tastes. So I am here for that.

Yes, its extortionate. I won't be repurchasing unless I can see significant benefits by the end of the month.

Even then, I am not sure that it is affordable.

In my opinion, it doesn't taste great. I would be very surprised if anybody said they liked the taste or didn't mind it. Its definitely not dreadful, but its not an enjoyable experience, put it that way!

Are you tempted to try it?

@melonsandstuff it keeps being promoted on some YouTube videos I watch (US self house building) but you only ever see them take a sip or two, no one downs it and I thought it feels like the sort of thing you feel you should be drinking rather than what you want to drink.

also interested

I feel it would taste like grass. I love tender stem broccoli, spinach, green beans and salad leaves so I would rather eat good green veg than force myself to drink something unpleasant. Many years ago I tried Chinese medicine teas as I have a medical condition that doesn't respond well to conventional medicines so thought I will try anything. I just ended up vomiting it back up the second I tried to force it down.

It's truly disgusting. Couldn't get past the first pack and now waiting to regift the second months as some sort of Xmas wellness pack to my brother. Tastes cinammony sweet with after taste of chemicals. Worse than the taste is the smell, cannot be hidden i soup, milk, yoghurt etc

ohdelay · 17/11/2022 19:17

Also it clumps, does not dissolve at all.

TakemedowntoPotatoCity · 17/11/2022 19:22

It looks like algae. The name is rather similar too. Why do people drink this stuff and pay £££ for the privilege?

veneeroftheyear · 01/05/2023 14:24

@melonsandstuff Did you see any benefits at all? I was listening to Dr Chatterjee's podcast and it was advertised on there. I was curious but it's £££! The taste sounds pretty grim as well but I wonder if most of these things are similar.
