To wonder if I’m a crap cleaner, or is it impossible to keep the house clean with a toddler?

I don’t mean it’s some sort of hell hole, but I’m so focused on just trying to keep the kitchen and lounge areas passably clean and tidy that the bathroom isn’t cleaned regularly, hoovering isn’t done anything like as often as it should, big jobs like cleaning the oven - forget it.

Is it just me, or am I really crap at cleaning!?

No, it really is impossible! I can be quite depressing, but will get better. Marginally.

It’s a nightmare trying to keep tidy with kids! I found getting a cordless vacuum helped as I can whip that round easily, my 1 year old will eat anything she finds on the floor so that’s my incentive.

My oven gets a clean maybe once every couple of years 😭

It's definitely difficult, you can tell what day my toddler has been at nursery by the state of the house. Hell hole covered in Cheerios and discarded shoes - she's been home 3 days. Clean shiny house that smells of roses - I got 3 hours to myself.
