2 current incidents

  1. I'm trying to sell something and someone keeps messaging asking for my address for collection, but hasn't bought it. It's a child related item. I am polite and say they'll get the full address after they commit to buy. They keep asking. I say they can collect on a different day when my husband will be home. They say they have had a change of heart. I message them to say can you stop asking people for their full address without having made a purchase as it's quite intimidating and they get all sniffy and nasty with me.
  2. im trying to buy something. I win and pay immediately, pleased with my purchase and feel it's a good but not crazy good price. They cancel the sale and message saying so sorry it seems to be damaged and we didn't want to disappoint you. They say they'll relist noting the damage. They relist not noting the damage and when I ask they say they got confused and something else was damaged. I ask to buy it for the original price and they say no but good luck in the auction. Their postage cost is also very high.

all a bit boring really! I love the second hand market because even though it requires time and energy, it's better for the planet and my bank account. But why bother when ppl just act like weirdos and mess you about.

is there anyway to get eBay to stop this?

other marketplaces aren't as good for the stuff I like to buy
