Dh 40th always wanted to go somewhere particular (so have I) his birthday is the most inconvenient date (Xmas) too expensive and cannot afford to go then, I cannot go in January, the February date that is available clashes with my monstrous period so no point next date is a few days after my 40th.. Aibu to book this and give it to him as 49th surprise birthday or is this taking the piss as it is more like my birthday than his?
