Hotels near O2 arena, London

At the risk of both sounding like a country bumpkin and also facing the wrath of AIBU purists, could I ask for a bit of advice.

My 17 year old daughter has got tickets to a show at the 02 arena to see a show on a Sunday night with her friend. Neither are particularly streetwise or been to London before.

If the show is due to finish at 10pm, would there be a realistic prospect of her getting home to Yorkshire that night via public transport or would she be better staying in a hotel. If a hotel, I'd be really grateful for any suggestions of easy places to get to afterwards. I think the arena is on the Jubilee line but not knowing the area myself, I've struggled with google searches.
Thank you 😊

Personally I would go for the premier inn at Stratford. Three stops up on the jubilee line, the hotel is right close to the station, and on a Sunday night you can often get a decent rate. Best to book well in advance though. The only thing I don’t know about is whether 17 year olds can book and stay without an adult - worth checking.

I've stayed here, it is a boat

Next to cable car that goes across river to 02

Opposite is a small Tesci for food

Assessable via nearest tube station

Oooh yes, I remember staying there. I thought it had closed though?

I would book a hotel to be honest although it may be tricky for 2 x 17 year olds, I’m not sure🤷‍♀️

We stayed in a nearby holiday inn but it was expensive and completely shit.I would stay in the inter continental hotel right next to the O2 if I went again but that wasn’t a cheap option.

For reasonable priced option it would be premier inn but when we looked, none were that close by so google maps carefully before booking.

The difficulty with public transport is the vast numbers of people all going the same direction!
