How is this possible? Wasn't it a true story and it's being all told? Where can they go with it?

Just finished the first series and I think this could have easily been a few episodes shorter. Not sure what else they could add to a second series unless it features a completely different house and family maybe?

They can go a long way away. I'm still dragging through S1, it's tedious. How there can be enough drivel for S2 I can't imagine.

It was very, very loosely based on a true story of a a new owner of a house receiving a couple of weird letters (and the previous owner got one letter just before they sold but had nothing for the many years they lived their before).
But that's all. Someone got a couple of odd letters, went public and then lost money because the house value dropped.

It's very much a fictional show. They can make it whatever they want for season 2. But iit was very tedious so season 2 will probably also be dull.

Season 2 of the witcher has been out for ages.
Season 3 is coming. That will be the last with Henry Cavill.
Season 4 will have Liam Hemsworth as Geralt. They originally planned 7 seasons so it remains to be seen if that plan will survive the change of actor.

It started off good but got a bit ridiculous as the season went on. The ending was terrible. I doubt I’d bother with a 2nd season

The best thing about the Watcher was the trailer. I slogged through the whole bloody series, but I certainly won’t bother with the second one.

Well if they carry on the story and there are actual witches/cult/murderers next door etc it will probably get good maybe? I had subtitles on and when the neighbour spoke it said the witch sighs or says or whatever so perhaps they are all going to be a vampire witch coven that would be preferable to the shite ending of the 1st series anyway.

The premise and the trailer. If they knew how shit the ending was it wouldn't have been in the top 10 for half as long.
