I know this is off the back of another thread but he and his wife did do a lot to raise awareness of GBMs, as are another family at present - which is an absolute bastard of a disease . I can’t think of any other cancer that’s essentially an absolute death sentence . Cared for dozens of patients with GBM, all of whom have since died - mainly young adults in their twenties and thirties . Very, very few people make it to the 5 year point . Absolute bastard of a disease that needs talked about more . How can it be in the 21st century that we are still basically sending people home to die with that diagnosis?
