Anyone have experience of hospital schools?

Posting here for traffic.
In this case it's a mental health unit for children, rather than one of the prestigious boarding schools.
Have been offered some part time work in one but no idea what to expect, just wondered if anybody has ever worked in one or has had children attend them?

My son has hospital school when he’s in hospital long term. He has never been well enough to go to the actual school on site, but not many are, so the teachers come to him for an hour a day.
he made great progress in his learning- better than when he was home and at his actual school because the one hour was so focused on him.

Thanks for your answer.
That's good he's made great progress, and I bet it is a lot better in that respect having a private tutor as such.
