Christmas presents for boys of all ages

First time poster. Locally there is a scheme to provide Christmas presents for children who may not receive much otherwise. The organisers say most people donate for younger girls so are hoping for gifts for boys of all ages. Usually total spend is around £20 ( can be a few smaller things or one bigger thing). Would be grateful for any suggestions please as I have not bought toys/ games/ toiletries for younger folk for a long time.
Thank you in advance

We do something similar so I get my boys to buy something they would like. Currently popular among the 7-9 age is Minecraft books, Pokemon cards, hot wheels, transformer any superhero figures or a collection of old fashioned jokes, whoopie cushions etc

Argos usually does a few black Friday deals so you might get a few bargains there.

Lego.

Older teen boys like posh shower gel LOreal invigorating or whatever was a hit with my class. They also liked Sneaky Wipes to keep their treads looking fresh and charging cables of all types ( always breaking or losing them).

@Whodrankallthetonic have a look at the Christmas forum thread for ideas

And battery packs - these are always popular with my teen boys!

Hot wheels cars, vehicle stuff generally. Tracks for vehicles.

I say all this. My son isn’t into this but he seems to be the only one! He just loves animals.

Oh yeah and anything dinosaur related.

Our local collection asks for no cables, earphones or tech stuff, as the recipients often won’t have a device to use them with.

Lego for younger boys. Nike or similar socks, cap, T-shirt for older ones, football and pump.

Changeyncchange · 23/11/2022 07:34

Teen boys- Designer socks or undies you can usually pick them up cheap somewhere. Razors, wallets, trendy phone cases, aftershave (a couple of trendy brands do a cheapish one), sweets and chocolates always went down a treat with my lads even now, a football, baseball cap.

It's hard. My sons are very different, the older one would have loved everything on that list my younger, geekier, one would have loved bits of it but most of the stuff he would love would be too expensive.

It's so shit that boys in poverty are left out and diminished like this. Thank you for drawing this to my attention and from here out I'll be favouring towards boys of every age.
My 14yo ds is the absolute light of my life.

Mybumlooksbig · 23/11/2022 19:49

I have it on my list to get a present for a collection near me that recently started for this year. I'll get something my boys would like, if they're not receiving as much in general, I never know what to buy so this should help!

SeenAndNot · 23/11/2022 20:16
