I pick ds up from school. today he said he was staying for an extra hour. when i checked this morning he said he wasn't sure. and that he would ring me at morning break. morning break has been and gone.
so if he doesn't ring at lunch. (which means I won't know untill school comes out) shall i have the nap after luch I desprately need after a bad night with dd(sn) and just make him wait if he comes out at normal time.
(i have an idea what the answers will be. but my tired mind can't decide) oh he is 15 and 11 months an 2 weeks.

Yes. Make him wait - unless you can text him? ffs - he should be able to get himself home at 15!

Leave him there. He can get on with some homework on his lap whilst he waits. He may also learn a lesson about keeping to his commitments.

harleyd · 29/01/2008 12:44

lol, in fairness at 16 you have better things going on in your head than remembering to ring your mum
sorry 2shoes

ConnorTraceptive · 29/01/2008 12:46

Let him wait - enjoy your nap!

fletchaaarr · 29/01/2008 12:49

2shoes i have it on atm, am loving it!

Baffy · 29/01/2008 13:05

make him wait. get some sleep.

he may have better things to think about than ringing his mum but he said he would ring, and it's just good manners to stick to what you promise, so it'll teach him a valuable lesson if he does have to stand around waiting for an hour

kerryk · 29/01/2008 14:40

can you not go get him and if he is not there have a hours nap in the car

2shoes · 29/01/2008 15:49

he rang
