To think there is no need to rush to labels

I have a DD, 11, who has short hair, and prefers to wear baggy men's clothing. She is often mistaken for a boy due to her appearance.

I support her to dress however she is comfortable, and for her that definitely isn't anything considered traditionally feminine.

I was asked recently if she was non-binary. I said no, she's just a girl who likes to dress as she does. I just don't understand the rush to label her. She doesn't want any label herself.
