Have anyone else’s kids been sick since September?

Have anyone else’s kids had one thing or another since they went back to school/nursery in September?! Mine has had a sickness bug, viral infections etc and it seems she’s healthy 2-7 days before she contracted the next one!! Worried about her immune system or is this normal?!

Yes, lots of bugs going round. My DD has had nearly two weeks off school this term.

Loads going about mine has been poorly twice once he had hand foot and mouth next one was d&v not nice at all but I just try to drum into them to wash hands ect

She's just started nursery but we've all been ill basically since September too with various colds, COVID and hand, foot and mouth. Just started to settle and now she's teething. It's been horrendous as one or both of us have got everything she's got.

Lots going round. We haven’t had a weekend where one of us didn’t have something for weeks. I’m fed up of it.

No - it was unusual because we had a clear span of about four weeks where NO ONE was ill!

This week it's all come home, though. Looks like we're about to get our share.

Going on 5 weeks now since anyone in our house was well. Started with flu, then d&v, then a cold and now croup. DP Has had to take 2 weekends off work. My work is more flexible so I've had to take more days off than I can count. Between having to keep DS1 off nursery etc, and getting sick ourselves. Exhausted

DS missed a massive amount of time off school last year with illnesses.

So far since September, he hasnt been sick so hasnt needed any time off. I am being stricter on him in some ways eg not letting him go to training if its raining so wonder if thats helping.

Its been exactly the same with my 4 year old…everything she gets, we get…I’m fed up and almost at the point of not wanting to let her go back to nursery!
