To think pikes occur before my period

I seem to have a flare up of piles and bleeding from
bum the week before my period
anyone know why this is? Last 3 months iv had it quite bad

Inflammation maybe?

I seem to get similar, well the bleeding anyway. Had HALO surgery 4 or 5 years ago now so the piles themselves are much less troublesome.

I was reading up on this the other day and piles can get worse due to hormone changes in the lead up to your period

A lot of women can become constipated in the run up to their period, this can then worsen piles. Could this be happening?

Higher progesterone and lower oestrogen possibly.

Thanks all so this is a possibility? I’m veering between it’s piles or something more sinister the doctor says it’s piles

The moment you feel it coming on try and make time for a few baths with Epsom salts. It’s been a game changer for me.

Are you using suppositories and cream ?
Mine get worse in the heat.

I also get piles and the shits too sometimes.I also get blood type clots in my period too.seeing all that lot in the loo is grim
The piles & shits are usually only when I'm heavy

Hormonal changes can make you constipated before your period.
