I'm being cheeky using Aibu because I'm desperate to get back onto Whatsapp Desktop as it's sooo useful. WA desktop has the capacity to let you use your phone or live video through the app on your laptop. I don't want WA web which only lets you txt from your computer. I have tried absolutely everything but nothing works. My phone and the on-screen qr code sync & it buffers saying 'downloading messages' and then I get an error message on my phone saying it couldn't log in. I've used WA desktop for a year or so with no problems until now. I can't even get hold of anyone at WA, they don't answer messages.
I've tried every solution on the internet. Deleting & reloading WA on both phone & laptop. Clearing all caches. Reseting WA. Checking my firewall. Everything. I can still log in to the web version but that's no use to me. Can you help?
