In thinking I've been badly let down by my phone provider.

I'm normally good when making a complaint......speak clearly, get my point across politely, make notes and remember that the person I'm speaking to is probably doing their best in a pressurised environment.

That is until now. I've had an ongoing issue with my mobile phone provider, been with them for 22 years and never had a problem until June this year. Out of the blue a text message i wrote didn't send and up came........ Not sent tap to try again. This happened on and off for a few days. Phoned them and was told a local mast was down, they'd let me know when it was all up and running. This is all from my home address and is fine once I'm away from home.

Fast forward to October and I'm still dealing with the same issue and since last Friday an escalation to minimal network cover, meaning I can only make a few calls from home or even receive them . The signal comes and goes, 90% of the time there's been no signal in the last 4 days.

I've messaged them, no reply. I made 4 phone calls this afternoon to my phone provider when my signal slightly came back. Each call I got about 3 mins talking to someone, then I was cut off, the screen read, no signal. No one phoned me back.

I'm stuck, keep speaking to different people every time I phone. I've been stuck at home since Friday with a severe reaction to my COVID jab, but I can get out tomorrow and try to call them away from home when I can get a signal elsewhere.
Aibu or how do I get my call escalated to someone who can do something.
Thanks.

Try Ofcom?

What is your Internet like? Can you do a live chat? Or email them?

How do you know the issue isn't with your phone? Are neighbors having problems?

Are you tied into a contract or sim only? If sim only it is so easy to switch now and take your number with you. They do it all for you when you buy a new sim and switch you over automatically. Just make sure you're moving to a different network and not one that piggy backs off your current one.

Clearly the customer service is lacking especially when they don't call you back when you've been cut off.

Also have you tried restarting your phone? I'm sure you have if its been happening a while but worth a try

Try turning on wifi calling if it's an option? On my android phone, it's in settings for the phone app. The option says it will always wifi instead of a mobile signal whenever possible.
