Has anyone seen the headline????

I believe it is at a University in Wales.
I believe the man has a live-in role at a halls of residence supporting vulnerable students.

I can't believe there aren't any other threads on this...
That seems so strange.

But here is a link in the public domain

yes, as there has already been many posts

notacooldad · 23/10/2022 19:04

Theres been posts and they are getting deleted 🤷‍♀️

Theluggage15 · 23/10/2022 19:04

Yes but apparently mumsnet are upset on his behalf on for some weird reason and are not allowing any discussion of this item of news which appears on Wales Online which is hardly a secretive website.

Theluggage15 · 23/10/2022 19:05

Perhaps Mumsnet could actually have the courage of their convictions and explain exactly why they’re not allowing discussion of a mainstream article.

Newtt · 23/10/2022 19:06

How odd...
Better not refer to previous threads though...
Or this could be another casualty of the MN deletion plague...

Why on earth wouldn’t we be allowed to talk about this?

it’s a serious breach of safeguarding, it’s already been reported publicly. Surely MNHQ would be just as concerned for the children he’d be coming into contact with as anyone else?

why would they censor people sharing information that could keep children, young adults and women safe?

BoneAppleTee · 23/10/2022 19:36

Yes been plenty of other threads but MNHQ seem more interested in protecting a disgrace of a university and a violent offender than the young students he is 'safeguarding'. All in the public domain so no reason why it can't be openly discussed here.

WifeMotherWorker · 23/10/2022 19:40

What a shocking appointment!! I would have serious concerns for my child if they were at Cardiff Uni.

colouringindoors · 23/10/2022 22:29

He got 9 months sentence for strangling a woman but only served half of it.

And then got a job with vulnerable young people.

And women are told every day we're making a fuss.
