Family members not respecting your parenting wishes

Does anyone else have problems with family members respecting how you parent your child? Me and my one and half year old live with my grandad and as much as I love and appreciate my grandad and everything he does for us, there’s things like he will give my son some cereal and fruit out of his bowl and I will say can you cut the grapes in half as they are a choking hazard but today I found out he secretly gave my child whole grapes ‘because he needs to learn how to chew them'. I’m a worrier as it is obviously I said back it’s dangerous for his age maybe when his abit older he can have full one’s! But he says no. Also things like how he plays with (bangs and throws) his toys he says no to him and upsets him or if turns his bottle upside down he’ll take it off him and won’t give it back. I know it’s just small things and there are other examples but it’s getting me down. Anyone have any advice? I’m working on saving my money and getting a place of my own but right now it’s quite hard.
