For going over and over my answers in interview even though I got the job?!

Does anyone else do this?! 'Interview' process was 2 days so there a LOT of questions/activities. I actually got the job and am delighted!

I found out yesterday I was successful then tossed and turned all night doing a bloody post-mortem on my performance and even though everyone at work has been so lovely today and pleased for me, I cannot shake this off!

So is this reasonable after a brain draining, gruelling process and it will pass or am I being unreasonable and need to give my head a wobble?! Please do feel free to do this for me!

Congratulations on your new job! I’d be doing the same, though. I replay even the most mundane conversations and try to work out why I said what I did (and what the other person might have thought). It’s even worse in important conversations or interviews. It’s a fairly self-absorbed thing to do, but that’s me. 😁

Thanks FourEyesGood. My husband thinks I'm potty and that no-one will even remember half of what I said!
