Aibu for telling my dad not to get involved in things that don’t concern him?

Went to my parents for dinner he starts telling me a story saying he went to Tesco, and needed the loo and went to wash his hands. He said some other person (a worker) came out of the loo and didn’t wash their hands and he turned to the person who was leaving and said that’s gross you should wash your hands.

I just turned to him and said “why can’t you just stop involving yourself in business that’s not yours yes it’s gross but not your business, particularly if you’re rubbing them up the wrong way with that attitude and they’re fearless you’re literally half their size!”

he said “well I think it’s wrong and gross”

sorry but Aibu here? Just keep to your own business surely.

To be fair you are doing exactly as he did… mind your own business and leave him to it OP!

He's right. I would have said something too.

Friends of mine were on a cruise ship which had a norovirus outbreak - they stationed members of staff in the toilets to make sure people washed their hands!
