Just that really. This is really not the life I'd imagined! Where are the brooding men pining for me and writing heart breakingly anguish filled songs about me?? There's also a lot more farting than I was led to believe.

Yes, if you’re reading you aren’t socialising. I think it delayed my development.

Also I loved romance novels like ..sweet dreams and sweet valley high, even Forever gave the impression of handsome boys who are incredibly kind at the core....I am in agreement that there was no mention of all the farting....

Thank you @Crappydoo , you just made me choke on my beer! Yes, so much more farting than the Romantic poets lead me to believe. It's scarcely worth a lady dropping her hanky anymore when there's no dark, handsome man to pick it up
