To think these Price and Buckland leggings are inside out?

Pics attached. Daughter said her school friend pointed out she was wearing the leggings inside out in PE. She was wearing them with the drawstrings on the outside. On closer inspection they look as if the waistband has been sewn on the wrong way round.

Emailed pictures to the supplier who replied rapidly to say that this was by design to avoid the elastic rubbing against skin and that all their leggings were like this.

But that would mean the drawstrings should be worn on the inside. AIBU to think this can't be correct?

Does anyone else have these?

The draw string is on the inside in all of my running leggings.

I don't have these ones but I have some by a walking brand and they are the same with the drawstrings inside like that.

Yep the drawstring is on the inside of all sports leggings. To pull them tight, tie a knot and stop them falling down. I assume you have no sports leggings of any kind and have therefore outed yourself as a lazy bones 😄 just kidding.

Your dd was indeed wearing her leggings inside out. As PPS have said, the drawstring goes inside.

Yup drawstring on the issue is normal. Our school uses Price and Buckland too but all of my dc sports and running kit (I have 2 in a running club) has the drawstring on the inside whether it is sondico, karrimoor or whatever else. Scrotal my dd's karate kit has it inside too.

I work in retail and someone returned a pair of Nike trainers thr other day which had a tongue that showed the foam ( they are 100% supposed to be like that ) and she was adamant they were faulty .. err Noo it's called design !

Sweaty Betty etc all do drawstrings on the inside.

To be fair OP I would have assumed the drawstrings should have been on the outside like they always used to be. Shows how long ago since I ran anywhere!
