As an outsider to the UK (citizen of and living in a different EU country, so I have no particular axe to grind in terms of Labour vs Torys), but I am sitting here amazed at the gall of Liz Truss and her decision to go with “the corporation tax increase of the previous government”.

Which government would that be, Liz? Am
I missing something or is she just the new leader of the party that is and has been in government for a number of years?

Interested in whether UK people actually buy this total guff?

It’s really that she could stand up and deliver that total rubbish to a broad audience and (maybe) hope no one noticed she’s totally complicit. I’d be fuming if I was a citizen - where is her integrity or ownership of her role in the government?

Dunno, at today's press conference I thought like she sounded under duress. Like someone was holding her husband hostage and insisting she went out said what she said.
