Just reading another thread made me think of this.... (lighthearted)

Those videos where you literally watch someone remove items from one box into another? Like moving laundry tablets from its shop bought tub, into a plastic jar.

And the fridge restock, I dont get it. The people doing this must have fridges full of junk food. One I saw literally refills empty bottles with cooled water from her fridge dispenser and put them IN.THE.FRIDGE where the cool water was dispensed from already?

Endless videos of Hershey bars or wonders being put in plastic drawers.

Aside from the expensive outlay for all those various pots, tubs and trays.....what is the point of these and where is the actual food!!

I always wonder where they keep the half empty packets of stuff when they have put half of it into their Instagram-friendly container. Do they have a whole separate storage area for the stuff the doesn't fit in the jars and tubs?

I have no idea what videos you're talking about but they sound boring as hell. YABU to watch them but whine how pointless they are.

God I love those videos

I spent over £600 during lockdown on all the plastic boxes and my house has never felt more organised.

But I am someone who finds peace in organisation, whereas for many it’s just an extra thing to do

It goes in backstock!

There are VIDEOS for this???

Chikapu · 14/10/2022 18:51

I saw one where a woman squeezed all her toothpaste into a handsoap dispenser, it was bonkers 😂
I love an organised home but some of it is going way too far.

I watched a handful because I was curious and expecting some kind of big reveal. Like it was a previous hoarding situation they were helping organise but NOPE literally just moving stuff from one package to another. But having watch 2 or 3 I now find my Instagram and Facebook videos spammed with them. Like the one time I watched a cheerleader doing backflips and couldnt escape them on my feed for ages.

I keep my stuff in the boxes they came in and still look tidy. The only thing I move to a container is yoghurts and that's because the kids rip open the packaging and spill them everywhere or knock them off the shelves.

Oh yes! I've seen few promoted on insta because I like to have stuff organised, the algorithm kicked in.
Some are so laughable! I had really good fun watching some over lockdown.

You know that within a week it will NOT look like that😂

The unboxing is different but I don't really get it too. Later reviews, yes, but getting it out of the box? Not really.
