And I can't shake off the embarrassment.
I was collected my 13 year old DS from school. He has autism and goes to a specialist school. Parked in my usual spot by his classroom door.
Sat there waiting when I look up and see my son waving at me through the glass in the door. I start waving back and then blowing him kisses (which he loves, he's very affection). I then realise he's not blowing kisses back which is odd and he's stopped waving....I then realise it's not my son at all but his female 50+ year old teaching assistant.
She was waving at me to get me to come to the door to discuss something. I remained sat in the car blowing her kisses.
Mortified.
AIBU?
Eurgh this happened to me today.....

😂did you pluck up the courage to get out of the car?

This is the kind of thing that would haunt me for the rest of my life 😂

Hahaha!! 🤣🤣🤣 Brilliant!
I’m surprised she doesn’t have a sense of humour, working in a specialist school; we wouldn’t survive without ours in my school! 😉 🤣
