To take nephew to theatre if he's already going with DSis?

Nephew is 17, he has ASD and one of his main special interests is a Disney film. The film is coming to our local theatre in a couple of weeks and will be here until early next year, Dsis is taking him in a couple of weeks and I'm sure he'll enjoy it. I'm planning on taking my DC’s next year and giving them their tickets for xmas, I've asked Dsis if nephew would want to come with us and she has said he probably will and we'll be going on the last few days it's on. I told my mum I'm planning on getting nephew the tickets for xmas as well and she has said I shouldn't as he'll have already been once, he doesn't need to go again and he'll spoil it for my DC’s as he won't sit still. Me and Dsis did take him to the theatre a few months ago and she was dreading it but he did well, Dsis did take him out once when it was getting loud but apart from that he was fine.

Do you mean the cinema or the theatre? Like is it a live musical? Or are they playing the Disney show on a big screen?

If it's the theatre, they sometimes have relaxed performances for ASD people.

A live musical at the theatre.

YANBU. His mum knows him and if she thinks he'll sit through it happily, I expect she knows better than his grandma does!

What a great opportunity to give him something you know he will love.
