I've had a very frustrating day driving around today.
This morning someone overtook me at a set of traffic lights as I was waiting to turn right. Just drove around a queue of us and zipped across when there was oncoming traffic. My husband and I were gobsmacked.
Then there someone trying to cross a busy high street 6ft away from a zebra crossing. Use the crossing fgs!
Someone who got out their car roadside on the same narrow busy high street, then stood there staring at their phone whilst the traffic their side came to halt as they were basically stood in the way.
Then someone who was too impatient to wait for me to overtake a cyclist (I couldn't as they were approaching a traffic island so not enough room) just drove on the other side of the traffic island on the wrong side of the road to get past us both. I was again gobsmacked, especially as it was the second piece of very cheeky driving I experienced today.
Not long after that someone cut me up at a roundabout because they were in the wrong lane, then proceeded to start overtaking the cars in front of them who had stopped at a zebra crossing, terrifying everyone crossing, to then turn right just before said crossing into a car park EXIT.
What the heck is wrong with people?!
