Sort of other woman

So had a 'break' with my boyfriend of 7 years in 2016. We got back together in 2017 and since then have bought a house together, got married and had kids. We both are very happy in our lives and love each other a lot.

However, in the break, he started casually seeing/sleeping with another woman, who he dropped as soon as we decided to start dating/try again.

But for some reason the idea of this woman makes me really insecure sometimes. I know who she is and what she looks like. She is married now too but has tried to get in contact over the years with my husband who has just ignored her messages

How do I forget about this woman and stop feeling so insecure. My husband has never done anything for me to not trust him and when I speak to him about this he is so patient and kind about reassuring me yet I just feel so insecure about her

Ask him to block her having explained your feelings. If he loves you, he will.

Read this back and focus on these points:

  1. you were on a break.
  2. he dropped her as soon as you were back together.
  3. its been 5 years, you are both older, wiser and more established.
  4. He is kind and patient and reassuring with you.

This is meant kindly but this is your issue to deal with. Keep in mind his patience, their lack of contact and his willingness to end their relationship as soon as you got back together.
