Can I change the amount Im asking for in the small claims court, this far down the process?

I am taking a person to a small claims court because they misold me something and it cost me over £400 in repairs after the purchase.

Basically they lied, I have proof.

I sent them the bill and asked for £300, I lessened it to keep it 'fair' 🙄

They refused, I've taken it to small claims court.

Mediation was refused by me because one thing I had to agree on was the reduce the amount which I had already done.

Now it's going to court and I'm sending off the evidence to
the judge today.

But now I'm pissed off and I want the full amount which is just over £400.

Is it too late to do this? I've also incurred further chargers since then for more repairs on the item bought.

Im on hold with the legal people but I only get through to admin and I don't think they can advise me on this.

I would think so. These things happen in court all the time, with evidence being submitted at a later date etc. Just contact them and tell them you want to amend the amount being sought. Or take out a separate case against them for the remaining amount if the request is denied.

Yes, just make sure you have all the proof, all receipts down to the penny on the day for the judge to look through.
