AIBU for hunting for a reflective coat?

DD will be taking the bus home in the dark from school and I want to get her a coat/jacket with reflective piping on so she can be more visible. Is it really this hard to get a reflective kids coat? I’ve seen a black waterproof one with reflective strips on the front in Tesco, and I thought it would be perfect for her, but they only had a few left and they were in smaller sizes. DD is 12 but quite tall and still wears kids clothes, she usually wears 15-16 but sometimes 13-14. I went to a couple of different Tescos to look for this particular coat in her size with no luck, and they don’t sell anything similar to what I’m looking for. I’ve also checked Asda and other shops and they don’t have anything close enough. If you have seen this particular style, have you come across bigger sizes? I might check tesco another day when they restock hopefully. DD’s school aren’t strict on coat colours so she could wear hot pink. Can anyone recommend anything like this?

You can buy reflective stick-on strips, that what I ended up doing (off Amazon)

What about rechargeable Led strap on lights that runners wear? Reasonably priced & could strap them on arms and loop onto school bag.

Cycling jackets have reflective patches so you could look at an adult one in a small size?

was just about to recommend Proviz, they do children's jackets, but the PP has beaten me to it. I have one for cycling and its incredibly reflective

I've got a black backpack laptop bag with a white reflective spot pattern - it doesn't scream neon reflective (and it's a backpack so I don't see it on) - but apparently it's very effective when I walk under bridges along the canal.

H&M usually have reflective bits on.

DD has a parka from Regatta that does.

Regatta and Trespass often do reflective jackets or reflective trimmed jackets.

Most running jackets will be reflective also.

Like a previous poster said you can also buy reflective strip from Amazon to sew/stick onto stuff.

Reflective backpack, reflective arm band, led keyring on backpack.

Loads of options.
