Vinted seller not happy with arrangements for an item that is not as described

I bought an item and it is not as described. The seller accepts this and has agreed to refund if I return the item. All good. I said I'd send the item on Monday because I can't physically return it before and the seller is demanding I return it today. It only arrived today. Aibu not to return it before Monday?

No your not i run the ebay page for a cat charity and by the nature of me posting any problems or quiries tend to get emailed to me on weekends so i always say can sort it out on monday when im in my office

I've asked vinted to step in as the seller is saying I'm rude and that I need to say why I can't post it back until Monday. Just apologising and saying I can't do it today is rude apparently

Let Vinted deal with the idiotic seller. I bet she’ll say she hasn’t received it OP.

That's what I think too. I'll be sending it signed for with Royal Mail. I've rarely had a problem with eBay in over 20 years. With Vinted I've had numerous and I've only been using it since about June!
