Car park with sneaky blue badge spots

Ok so this is really more of a moan bc I'm fairly sure I'm not BU.
Car park near me has blue badge spots painted red. Fair enough. Nice and easy to spot, no one is going to.get confused there. BUT in the same car park they also have some with no red paint and a VERY faded disabled symbol instead. It really is barely noticeable, especially if you're looking for the red ones to avoid. I can only think it's done intentionally, to catch people out so they can fine them? I mean I can't see how it actually helps anyone that needs the space if people who don't need it end up using it by mistake. Has anyone else ever come across this? It's shit right?
They nearly caught me out today.

It’s more likely that the disabled spaces have been moved and the ones with faded symbols were the original ones. I often see faded writing or lines in car parks where layouts or directions have changed.

Agree with this and its what I was going to say.

If the disable spaces are clearly marked it's much more likely these ones were the old spaces and can now be used by anyone.
