They've got their nasty Unhinged feet under the table. They've thrown out all the rational, socially responsible Tories of old and the rabble currently in the Cabinet have a tenuous hold on the reality that most of us recognise. Can you get rid of these loons or are they in charge for the next couple of years?

No response? God forbid we appear to be stuck with them then.

Who would admit to being a Tory voter today?

Ah. Fair point. Redundant question then😀

Britannia Unchained is (unbelievably) only the friendly face (!) rip the mask off and you'll find The Sovereign Individual underneath. Be afraid.

I hear you. It's a problem. I'm far from being a Tory but I am a member of the church of England and when Synod votes through some fuck-stupid anti gay thing (or other failing), I wonder if I should remain part of it. I stay because I refuse to abandon this thing I care about to the nutters.

Similarly there must be some decent Tories out there (yeah yeah I know but let's all be non tribal grownups about this). And it's difficult. At what point do you abandon the party (and any residual power and influence it may retain) to the wreckers, morons and main chancers who've taken it over? I don't know. I feel like the conservative party may be beyond the pale now but it might not feel like that if you're on the inside?

It's an interesting question; thank you for asking it.

Getting back some non-loons in charge could lead to another Tory government - so I (as a non-Tory) would take the short term hit to get rid of the Tories for a few years.

This is quite interesting. It’s suggesting we now have a hung Parliament.
