anyone had broken nose manipulated 3 weeks after injury

DS got hit on the nose in rugby but we didn't get it seen to until 2 weeks later. ENT consultant is saying success rate after 10 days is 50%. Anyone have experience of this?

I broke my nose in a car crash years ago. 4 weeks later it was reset under general anaesthetic. Perfect nose, you could never tell it was broken, only I can feel a tiny dent if I rub the bridge of my nose.

I used to work in paediatric theatres and we not infrequently set broken noses during routine ENT lists. Get it done, it’s not going to get worse and it should improve it
