Light pink bleeding 5 weeks pregnant, go to EPU or not?

Hello

I am 5w2d pregnant and have stomach ache, light pink watery bleeding and pain in my pelvis.

Should I go to EPU this morning or wait it out?

I've had multiple miscarriages but I'm under sickness review at work because I had to spend a week in hospital a couple of months ago.

I don't know what to do 😢

Go with your gut instinct. I'm sure you know that whether you go or not wong change the outcome but it will give you an answer.

Hope all is ok OP, I know how scary it is Flowers

Hi OP, generally they won't see you before since weeks as before that they don't expect to see anything on a scan. Exceptions would be if you have extreme pain or very heavy bleeding.

I had bleeding throughout the first trimester in both my pregnancies and what I did in the first instance was contact my GP. They then referred me to the EPU with appointments from 6 weeks on.

Try not to panic. Early bleeding, especially before 6 weeks, is very common and not necessarily a sign that there's anything wrong. I'm proof of that as from those two pregnancies I've now got two healthy kids.

Aw bless you, try not to worry. I may be wrong but if you get in touch with your gp they could do a blood test at I think 2 days apart to check your hopefully rising hormone levels x

Pregnancy sickness doesn’t generally count towards any sickness triggers. Doesn’t at my place but could be different but pretty sure you can’t be discrimination against. So if you need to go. Please do.

Thank you everyone

Every pregnancy except for the first and second, they've seen me for a scan at 5 weeks, 7 weeks, 9 weeks and 12 weeks because of my history.

I'm past the usual 5 weeks scan as I was trying to just trust my body and not get my anxiety up going to all these scans but maybe I need to now I'm bleeding and have pain.
