My granny passed away a few years ago and I've just discovered that my dad never got around to organising a headstone! I loved her very much but live far away. My parents had a somewhat fracitious relationship with her but not so bad I didn't think, they kept in contact and visited now and then but when it came up could be very mean about her. I feel bad I'm just realising this now, I'm visiting the area soon and occurred to me I could go to grave and mentioned to my mum who said Dad hasn't done it, she'd kept on at him. I think it's so disrespectful and like the ultimate insult. I've got very little respect for my father as is but this sort of confirms how pathetic and selfish he is. He is Retired, affluent (so no time or money constraints stopping him from doing this). should I organise a headstone? Confront my father over it?
