To ask where to buy nice plus size wedding guest dresses/outfits?

Just as the title asks really. I'm attending a wedding in a month and I'm so embarrassed about my size that I've just avoided looking so far. I'm an 18-20/L top size and XL/20-22 in skirts. When I'm slimmer I'm an hourglass shape (big bust, good waist to hip ratio and still go somewhat in at the waist at my size but obviously I've lost a lot of my shape and even my middle is quite big).

I've looked at Boden, Monsoon, Simplybe, Coast, Hobbs and M&S.

I got two beautiful dresses for wedding from In the Style. They have a wide range of styles and sizes. One was quite a formal dress and one was more summery

and make sure you get decent undergarment makes all the difference to how clothes fit and hang on you

Phase 8 definitely, coast also do good plus size. Or depending on budget check out local boutiques for wedding guests - they normally go up to larger sizes and are structured well so fit nicely

If you possibly can, arrange a day trip to London to the boutique to try on everything. The different shapes work for different body shapes so the right one will work miracles.

Had my eye on the golden confident frock and matching coat, just need the right occasion.

Once you know which works for you, the drill is to order on line.

While you are in London, make an appointment afterwards at www.rigbyandpeller.com. Show them the frock you have chosen and they will find you the perfect under crackers.

I'm a very similar size to you OP, what is your usual style of dress? Any colours you would have a preference for?

Lady V are nice, Scarlett and Jo and it's worth checking John Lewis. I know you said you'd checked Hobbs but I've found some great bits in there. Website threw this up as an example:

I do also love a Bombshell but they are a bit more pricy so will depend a bit on budget.
