Bit of a daft post!!

Is Bolagnaise sauce with 7% alcohol okay to use for our 4 year olds dinner? We havent got any more sauce and dinner is almost ready 😞

The alcohol will have cooked away.

I'm pretty sure I served Boeuf Bourguignon when mine were that age.

Hugasauras · 19/09/2022 17:37

Depends. Are they an angry drunk or not?

GreenManalishi · 19/09/2022 17:39

Let it bubble for a bit and the alcohol will evaporate off, however 7 percent of a blob of bolognese isn't really enough to start a party, I woudn't worry.

@Hugasauras 🤣🤣🤣

MessyBunPersonified · 19/09/2022 17:45

Only allowed to drink at home from age 5 in the UK, best give your 4yo some toast.

BertieBotts · 19/09/2022 17:46

It's not drinking for alcohol to be in a meal. It will be fine.

BertieBotts · 19/09/2022 17:47

There's probably more alcohol in the finished product (once diluted by the meat, spaghetti, other ingredients of the sauce etc) than fruit juice.

BertieBotts · 19/09/2022 17:47

Less sorry!

Twistedunicorn · 19/09/2022 17:53

We've just went ahead and used it lol also went with a massive glass of red wine to wash it down (for me obviously) 🤣🤣 @Hugasauras they are quite angry sober never mind drunk lol
