To ask if you think this sounds normal, period related. Sorry!

I know it's a personal subject and I really hate to ask but I'm currently sat on the bathroom floor in our chalet, on holiday, in agony. 8.5 out of 10 on the pain scale.

I'm due on in the next day or two but I'm having 'period pains' akin to fecking childbirth. I have three children and my youngest is 10 months, the latter born by c section if relevant.

My periods were definitely heavier for the first few months postpartum but I haven't had anything like this. My last cycle was perfectly pain free. This isn't normal for me, but is it normal for you?

Is the pain on one side?

Is your pain in your uterus or higher up? I started my period the other day (second time since DD was born) and I too was in agony, but it was more in my stomach than uterus.

Hope it passes soon!

It is directly in the middle of my bikini line, but I also have upper abdominal pain aswell (unsure if the latter is connected as I do have gastritis and that may well be flaring up!)
