Whenever I'm on my period my husband will ask me to do things for just him and act rejected if I don't want to.

AIBU to not want to do this and just want to be left the fuck alone when I'm on? The last thing on my mind is sex or anything sex related especially when there's nothing in return either.

If mine behaved like this, I'd never want to have sex with him again.

And I wouldn't.

There will no doubt be other posters here shortly to say you are being unreasonable to make him wait a week or question why you don't want to have sex on your period but you are entitled to say no to any sexual activity at any time, not just because you are on your period.

If he's not a complete dick then just telling him you don't feel sexy on your period should be enough. If he's not listening to that then he's an entitled, sexually abusive arsehole.

Has he always done this? Some men think that when they marry their wife's body is available to them whenever they want.

Yuk, I would not be doing anything for him without something in return. He is a selfish sod, this would put me off him entirely.

Anyone that acts rejected when their partner won't perform sex acts is not someone I'd want to be in a relationship with.

The fact you're on your period isn't key here, the fact you don't feel like it is enough. I don't want to is a good reason for not doing something.

OP - you have no obligation to perform sex acts on your sulky manchild huband, regardless of whether you are on your period or not.

Remind him that sulking makes him unnattractive.

From your question I was expecting you to say he gets no sex at all so YABU, but if he’s only got to keep off during your period, than you are definitely not being unreasonable!

Even if he was getting no sex at all the OP would not be unreasonable.

Men do not have the right to sex. Sex is not a human right. Married or not.
