AIBU to hope that my microblading will fade?

I had microblading/phi brows done 15 months ago. I liked my brows OK but now wish them gone. They have faded a lot to a light black/grey shadow or blur around my eyebrows. Will they ever totally fade? When I got them I naively believed that if I didn't top up they would fade away in time. I had a consultation with a laser clinic but am petrified of the idea of orange or yellow or red brows as apparently they can change colours as part of laser removal. My brows aren't awful so if I thought they would just eventually fade I would wait it out. Anyone any experience of how or do microbladed brows eventually go away?

Isn’t micro blading tattooing? I’m not sure but when I was reading up I’m sure it said they fade after 2 years.

They’ll fade, depending on your skin type could be less than 2 years

I have had them a few years and topped up. They've faded but not 100% gone, no.

I had thought that they would fade away if I chose not to top up. Recently though I've read stories of people who's microblading hasn't faded.

I had mine done in December 2020, not had them topped up and they haven't faded at all really

I know someone who does really excellent microblading who also offers removal of previous work, as not everyone's face away completely. Ask around for someone local on Facebook who does the same

*fade away

I found a very reputable and well reviewed laser removal clinic. The clinic warned that brows can be unpredictable and may change to red orange or yellow during removal process. This scared me off laser removal.

Mine are 4 year old and have lightened but still visible , didn’t bother getting them topped up as wear glasses now so they are pretty much covered anyway

I had mine done in August 2018 and they're still going strong.

Benefit do an excellent brow pencil. It’s not the cheapest but it’s definitely worth it. Use it to get your brows closer to the colour you want.
