My sibling has mental health issues and been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder.
He tends to take offence to the most ordinary of comments. A conversation with him is a minefield. I end up feeling like saying nothing is my safest bet. Sometimes he will send me horrible or verging on the threatening messages when I have only tried to be supportive or asked him how he is doing and if he's OK. Sometimes he's out right rude and unpleasant. My mum says everything he says should be excused or taken with a pinch of salt due to his diagnosis. But its hard as there is no way I would allow anyone else to speak to me like that.
