In June, I got 18 inch hair extensions fitted. I paid for the extensions myself through the salon and it was very expensive - the brand was beauty works.
The extensions were cut to around 4 inches past my shoulders so wasn’t super long afterwards. My hair dresser cut and thinned out the hair extensions to blend them into my desired look.
Today I got my hair extensions taken out and refitted. However my hair dresser didn’t place my extensions back in the same place. For example, after June’s hair appointment:
- the extensions placed at the nape of my neck were a lot shorter than the extensions placed near my ears, as this is how they fell in place after the hair cut
At today’s appointment, my hair dresser put them back in so randomly. For example, some of the refitted extensions were very long at the nape of my neck (he used the ones that used to be placed near my ears). And some of the refitted extensions near my ears were extremely short (as he used the hair previously placed near my neck).
this led to my hair being overall shorter and randomly choppy. The uniform hairstyle I had before which was perfectly cut and blended is gone. He tried to blend in the shorter layers but overall it looks like my 5 year old tried to give me a hair cut! It’s basically shoulder length now too.
I am fuming as it’s not like it will grow back! The hair extensions I paid for 2 months ago which were supposed to last at least a year
he said he will redo my hair and add another pack of extensions. Aibu to not be happy? I don’t know if he will use the same brand of hair or colour of hair. And my hair took 3 packs of extensions to begin with which he ruined, he’s only replacing 1/3!
