AIBU to be livid about so called Eco loo paper?

So I went on line and ordered some eco friendly loo roll. I was horrified when the package arrived wrapped in black plastic. Each pack of 48 was again wrapped in plastic and to add insult to injury the toilet rolls came in packs of four which were, again covered in plastic.
I won't be buying Sirius Eco Roll again, and I hope that anyone reading this will also avoid it.

Is it biodegradable? Mine looks like ordinary plastic packaging but it doesn't feel like it and it says it's biodegradable on the front.

Is it actually black plastic or corn?

FOJN It is not biodegradable, and, Isaidnoalready no, it's definitely black polythene. I should've bought WhoGIvesACrapy or Panda!!

I had this once with an eco friendly soap. Tbf it wasn't the soap's fault, but the website selling it sent it in a ridiculously massive box full of bubble wrap. Negated the whole point.

I use Naked Sprout and recommend. They don't use bleaching chemicals.
