To think that ‘Apple News’ is the best way to get and read the news?

It just is the best way. It works so well and you can select exactly what topics you want to follow

Can the people who are voting YABU explain why please?

I get the alerts but.most of the articles are paid for which I don't want to do. If rather read the news for free because I'm too tight to pay

Surely the idea of news is that you hear all the important stuff that's out there, not just following topics that interest you?

Apple news also shows important stuff from topics you are not following as well

Cant imagine its any better than other news apps tbh. Choosing what topics you're interested in is a pretty basic feature in any news app I've used
