AIBU?

To go on holiday on my own

I want to go on holiday on my own for a week to a city as my 40th birthday present. Will it be thrilling and make me feel alive or will I just miss the children and feel bad that my husband is doing all the work?

Am I being unreasonable?

Absolutely do it and don't feel guilty.

Absolutely do it! Take a couple of good books to read in cafe, bars etc

Where are you thinking of going?

I do this for a night or two every few months. It is my greatest pleasure and a huge treat. I would say though, if you are apprehensive why not start with a mini break somewhere closer to home?

@Pregnantabroad where have you booked? How very exciting!! I think I’d love this - I have a couple of single friends who holiday alone - they love it and I’m very envious!!
