I’m autistic and have suddenly developed an obsession with medieval Britain. Can anyone recommend any movies in this genre?

"A knight's tale" is wonderful and has Heath Ledger. It's comic but actually accurate in lots of respects!

Monty Python and the Holy Grail is funny AF.

I’m autistic and my current thing is prison dramas.

It's a fun film if you take it at face value but I wouldn't really call it accurate. I don't even think it tried to be accurate, to be honest with you.

Maybe a bit too "modern" but I loved it: The Return of Martin Guerre.

Not film but tv, the last kingdom is about vikings but also Alfred the great is in it so in England around that time, plus lots to watch as I think it's on series 5 now
