Name changed .. but I'm a regular.
Very Lighthearted thread about online dating and how it's changed things. I've never done it myself!
I've been married for over 30 years so met my dh the old fashioned way without the internet.
We both agreed that if online dating had been around then we would have swiped on by each other and probably never have met! Lol
Neither of us are that photogenic ( I'm definitely not ) and there are rarely decent photos of me.
Our fate in life would have been so different I think. Was just pondering how the Internet has changed the way people meet each other now.
A colleague of mine is on line dating a lot and she agreed it's all about the looks and we wouldn't have met. She has met all her boyfriends online.
I know a few people still meet in pubs / work hobbies etc , but that must be rare now I think.
Would you have 'swiped 'on your partner to meet up back then if the Internet had been around ?
