Am I terrible for shouting

So I have 2 year old who pushed every button possible this morning, tantrums because he couldn’t stroke the cat as he was hidden (don’t blame the poor thing for hiding away from him). Then another one to try and get him put the door. My poor DD I know she is just inquisitive at the minute but my god a screaming toddler and the constant talking and I just lost it, I didn’t shout shout, I just said mummy needs to deal with Ds at the minute and I can only deal with one thing at once, I will come back to you when I have settled him. I said it quite stern and she looked upset, I feel so guilty but it was so hard!

It isn't wrong to sound angry. It is part of how they learn when they've gone too far. And you are only human and toddlers try the patience of saints!

You're human don't be so hard on yourself. Kids will do this to you sometimes and actually it's good for them to understand it can't be about them every millisecond esp when they have siblings. You can always apologise and have a cuddle and do something nice. She will get over it.

She has gone to my mums as I’m working today but my DS went into nursery and didn’t say bye for the first time! He could probably tell I was stressed and I feel bad for that now too!

I have had the kids to myself this weekend as DH had gone away. DS is the absolute devil for me but brilliant for him so I think he struggles to understand.
