Mumsnet helped her LTB in real life.

That’s exciting

Imissmoominmama · 04/09/2022 20:50

Brilliant!

Keyansier · 04/09/2022 20:51

If it's not the DM lifting stories, it's DMC...

HebeSunshine · 04/09/2022 20:51

Oh she reads here then? Hi Daisy, love This Country 👋 😁

Ukholidaysaregreat · 04/09/2022 20:51

I love Daisy May Cooper! Love that she reads AIBU. Bet she hands out some good advice!

carefullycourageous · 04/09/2022 20:51

Oooh, this looks good, I loved This Country.

Someone spotted this the other day.

dworky · 04/09/2022 21:16

Looks good. Great cast!

Manicpixidreamgirl · 04/09/2022 21:24

Daisy May Cooper is the funniest human alive.

I can’t wait for this, seems a little different.

VestaTilley · 04/09/2022 21:42

I love Daisy May! This Country was superb.

Mumsnet has helped hundreds of thousands of women, myself included. I’m glad it’s helped her too. Solidarity.

AgathaMystery · 04/09/2022 22:19

Ace.

does anyone remember the thread with the woman who was in her 60’s maybe 70’s & she had hidden money for years and had a flat and it was empty and she was going to move into it and just be free?

i always wonder how she is.

jcyclops · 04/09/2022 22:24

Can't wait for the episode about Shit Knives and the one about spiders wiping their willies on your washing if you leave it to get darked on.

Bathbomb99 · 04/09/2022 22:27

ill definitely be watching! Absolutely love Daisy-May Cooper!

The one DMC is referencing? In the article?

Notlosinganyweight · 04/09/2022 22:34

I can imagine how it will be made into a comedy. Interesting idea though.

Imagine if she did the other site (Tattle) where the crazy bitches hang around trolling.

DrBlackbird · 04/09/2022 23:14

Okay so I’ve seen this expression before in some thread but just what the hell does it mean to have your washing get darked on? Hmm

Leaving it out on the line overnight

OrangeKettle · 04/09/2022 23:18

Does anyone have the link to the thread? I remember the lady. I wanted to go back to it at the time but lost it.

UrsulaPandress · 04/09/2022 23:18

What do you think it means?

FriendOfDorothyGale · 04/09/2022 23:27

I don't find her funny at all. Watching her on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, was painful. She sounds rather disparaging of mumsnet apart from one post that resonated with her.

It seems like she is saying everyone else's views are shit, but the one she understood, was the good one.

She mustn't have ventured over to the extremely supportive Relationships board.

BattenburgSlice · 04/09/2022 23:29

Love DMC really looking forward to watching this!
can anyone find a link to the thread referenced?

SausagePourHomme · 04/09/2022 23:32

Fucking brilliant! I love her in everything. Mumsnet helped me leave my bad marriage too. Can't wait for this.

MelodyPondsMum · 04/09/2022 23:36

I'm not sure it's a criticism to say posters are told to LTB if he talks over Corrie or sings too loud. Grin Everywhere else tells women to suck it up. Even if someone posted LTB on every single thread, it still would be a drop in the ocean compared to the pressure on women to stay in relationships.

I had to stop watching Buzzcocks when she was on it!
